【TOMO雙語爆】西藏羊湖裸照風波 攝影師遭拘留

According to Chinese media outlets， a photographer who took and shared pictures of a woman posing nude at a sacred lake in Tibet has been hit with a 10-day detention. While visiting Tibet， the unidentified woman in the photos apparently wanted to mark the occasion in a memorable fashion. And what better way to do this than by getting naked at one of the three most sacred lakes in Tibet? Not to let his work go unnoticed， the photographer who took the photos uploaded the images to his WeChat profile， from where they eventually spread to Weibo and got netizens all hot and bothered. Local officials were reportedly tipped off as to the whereabouts of the photographer the same day the photos began circulating online and wasted no time in arresting him and putting him under detention for 10 days. One Weibo user posted this question online: “when did showing naked bodies in public areas become art? Some quality hotels won’t even admit people who dress inappropriately， let alone a sacred place.” Another user commented that people should respect the Tibetan religion and their sacred lakes because their faith is more important than their lives.
