台灣賓士以新聞稿的方式，向媒體宣布國內的相關召回動作，其說明內容如下：
台灣賓士接獲德國原廠通知，將召回於2009年6月1日至2010年2月28日間出廠的2010年式C-Class、E-Class、以及E-Class Coupe。至於三月以後生產的車型因為零件供應商的轉換，則已不會有上述的問題。
在少數狀況下，上述車輛動力轉向系統之高壓管與泵浦連接處可能產生方向機油的外漏，泵浦發出細微異音，造成方向盤動力輔助減少；特別在停車時，車主可能要使用較大力道來轉動方向盤。此方向機油外漏並不會造成轉向系統之故障，車輛仍維持可操控的狀態。
於上述期間所引進台灣的車輛共為1，979輛，但並非每部在此生產區間之車輛均須維修。台灣賓士已依照規定向車輛安全審驗中心報備這項召回行動，並儘快由授權服務廠主動與可能受影響之車主聯絡，預約進廠檢查時段。檢修時間約需時30分鐘。
