她接受電視節目《Today》訪問時表示（如下圖），拍攝期間差點沒凍死。出生於佛羅里達、習慣溫暖氣候的凱特透露：「當我拍完回來的時候，因為身體太虛弱，突然失去聽力和視覺，也沒辦法讓身體保持暖和。」真的是搏命演出。
